Lambo Davirus_EFARABURUKU BALE

LAMBO Resilience is a virtue; one required to survive in the creative world of artistry. What better way to describe LAMBO? A prolific rapper cum producer inundated with skills and a drive, which have helped elevate his art. The first time a glimpse of him was caught was the cameo appearance he made in Sound Sultans video Mathematics. He later went on to feature on Sodi featuring 2face and sultan(song which he wrote) and Governors Daughter by Baba Dee and in 2006 did another song with Sound Sultan called Back in the Days. Remarkably, all the songs went to No.1. In 2005 he dropped his first single Just Do It, which hit the airwaves both in Europe and Africa. The video, which was directed by Carlton TVs Michael Babalola, still enjoys airplay on British Sky Broadcasting stations and digital television in Africa whilst circulating at the speed of light on the Internet. It also enjoys a healthy amount of spins on radio. His style is reminiscent of a few conscious greats delivering rhymes induced with reason whilst taking listeners on a journey of true-life experiences; socio-political and moral issues which impact on urban reality. Standing 6ft 2 above the ground, this well built entrepreneur sure has a full-blown appreciation for the phrase Show-business and this reflects in his lifestyle as well as his music production; both for himself and other artistes. Lambo whose real name is Lanre Ayobamidele hails from the suburbs of Ondo State in Nigeria was born and is currently based in London. As C.E.O of Da Lab Records and Studios Inc., he has taken upon himself the task of working alongside top-notch producers and engineers who compliment his amazing production skills. One session in the studio sees the birthing process of a classic. Recently Lambo has been in the studio working on his new album Every Mans The Same with highly reputed producer Harmony who has worked with the likes of Styles P, Omarion, Jamelia, Fun-D-Mentalz and Craig David.
